Tuesday:
Happy National FFA week! The official adopted colors of the FFA are national blue and corn gold. Did you know that blue pays tribute to our flag and gold symbolizes the golden fields of ripened corn? Tomorrow's activity is the FFA emblem search. There will be ten FFA emblems hidden around the school. Turn them into Mrs. Graham for a prize.
Wednesday:
Happy National FFA week! Did you know there are 214 FFA chapters in the state of Nebraska and over 9,400 chapters in the USA, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands? There are currently over 1 million FFA members across the United States. Today's activity is the FFA emblem search. There are ten FFA emblems hidden around the school. Turn them into Mrs. Graham for a prize. Tomorrow's activity is Judging Elementary AG Posters & Grading Ag Quizzes. Tomorrow's activity is Business & Staff Appreciation and Official Dress day. Proper official dress will earn 50 FFA points, wearing an FFA jacket will still earn 25 points.
Thursday:
Happy National FFA week! Did you know that in Nebraska, 1 in 4 jobs are related to agriculture and 1 in 12 jobs in the US are dependent upon agriculture in some way? Today's activity is Business and Staff Appreciation. Tomorrow's activity is Ag Olympics. Ag Olympics will be held at 1:05 in the HHS gym. Winners of the ag quiz contest and count the kernels will be announced. Hope to see you there! FFA members, reminder to wear FFA Shirt and jeans on Friday.
Friday:
Happy National FFA week! Did you know that the Humphrey FFA chapter was recognized in 2025 as a Top 20 Chapter in Nebraska, Earned 3rd Place in Building Communities, as well as earning a 3 Star National Chapter Rating. Today's activity is Ag Olympics. Ag Olympics will be held during 6th period in the HHS gym. Winners of the ag quiz contest and count the kennels will be announced. Interested in playing HS G BB?
Grades 8th -11th interested in basketball next season plan on a girls basketball meeting Thursday February 26th @4:00pm @ Lindsay. If the boys play we will reschedule.
