District Office Bulletin for Wednesday, February 11, 2026
FFA Members:
FFA members competing in CDE contests Monday, Feb 16th: Leave time is 745am, please arrive by 7:30am to gather contest supplies. Proper attire is FFA Shirt and Jeans, make sure to bring coat or sweatshirt, and writing utensils. If you requested a sandwich, please bring $5. We will return by 3pm and go class at the end of the day. If you are not feeling well, please make sure to let Mrs. Graham know you are not coming.

Humphrey Aquatic Center: Lifeguards Needed! Apply now at the city office or print off an application online at: cityofhumphrey.com. Must be at least 15 to take the lifeguarding course. Details for the CPR/First Aid course and the Lifeguarding course are TBA. Assistant manager position is available. Must be at least 19 years old or older and must be able to obtain a Nebraska Pool Operator certification.
FFA Members:
FFA Members - the February FFA Meeting is on Wednesday, February 11th at 730 am in the HHS Gym. Lots of info about FFA Week activities and District CDEs on Monday February 16th. TOMORROW/Friday is the last day to sign up for Ag Sales, Agriscience, Meats Evaluation, Nursery & Landscape, Vet Science, Welding and Farm Business Management. I will also need to know if you want a subway box for lunch - Ham, Turkey or Roast Beef or if you will bring your own lunch.
Flowers for Valentines Day:
Don't Forget that Special Someone on Valentines Day! The Humphrey FFA will be selling Carnations and Roses for Valentines Day. Carnations & Greenery are $3 and Roses & Greenery are $5. Will be delivered on THURSDAY, Feb 12th by the end of the day. Orders due to Mrs. Graham by TUESDAY, Feb 10th. Please fill out a separate order form & Card for each order. (Cards are ON the order form). IF we have extra flowers, we will have them for sale in the lobby after school on FEBRUARY 12TH.
Congratulations:
In the JV division, Archer placed 4th in extemp. Keith finished 5th in serious prose. Cayley was runner up and Mariah was the champion in poetry. Mac placed 3rd in persuasive. Abbey was the POI runner up. The team placed 2nd overall. In next in varsity finals, Harley placed and Colter finished in persuasive. Cejay and Lia got runner up in duet. Mariah placed 2nd in informative. Harley placed 6th and Colter finished 3rd in persuasive. In champs varsity finals, Gabe placed 3rd and Harley finished 2nd in entertainment. Cejay finished 6th in humorous prose. Lia was the champion in poetry and placed 6th in POI. Colter finished 4th in POI. Karsen placed 6th in informative. The OID of Lia, Colter, Cejay, Karsen, and Abbey placed 6th. The team placed 4th overall.
